🍸 Finissage (closing party): Monday night

The new exhibiton by Nicola Hardy, Sophie Perillo and friends,’How Would You Like to Die?’  takes a question that sounds like a threat and turns it into an invitation. Darkly funny and strangely intimate, it’s a way of skipping past small talk and getting to what really matters: how we live, how we connect, and what we hope for before we’re gone.

This collaborative, interactive exhibition explores intimacy and prompts communication — whispered conversations in a tent for two, written responses, shared secrets with strangers in nicely lit rooms. You’ll find high-key gouache paintings, stark Letraset questions, and an installation with a live video link to performance artist Sophie Perillo in Melbourne, where you can ask and answer questions in real time.

It’s about meeting people, discomfort, and the absurd ways we try to reach each other in an increasingly digital age. It’s about mortality hiding inside humour, about sitting with someone and talking — deeply, awkwardly, honestly.

TL;DR: let’s get drunk, talk shit, and look at fun pictures.
